Live Review: Band Of Horses @ La Cigale, Paris
Saturday, February 26, 2011, to Paris to attend the concert Band of Horses La Cigale.
In part one, Mike Noga & The Gents , an Australian folk rock band. Initially, like most first games, I was pretty skeptical but ultimately rather surprised at the quality of the group live by their titles but also by their communication with the public has been, we can say with impeccable comic anecdotes rather on most titles. Public and even more so conquered when they took over The Man In Me Bob Dylan with Band Of Horses .

Setlist: Rothko, piss was Butterfly, the Cold year, Turn Your Lights On me again, M'belle, All my friends are alcoholics, the long weekend, The Man In Me, Down like JFK.
Towards 21h00, it's finally the turn of Band Of Horses going on stage for a show which sold out in a room much larger than the Golden Arrow where I had seen a year ago. They begin with
Wicked Gil , as their first album Everything All The Time then following titles Cease To Begin but the setlist will include mainly securities (almost all) of their latest album Infinite Arms I listen to these loop lately. It is true that certain titles stand out a bit more compared to others such as Blue Beard , Compliments , Factory , Laredo so good to hear even more live .
fans the first time are not provided with leave to account for example Cigarettes, Wedding Bands , Monsters , General Specific with Mike Noga this time and of course No One's Gonna Love You and Is There A Ghost? which are a must as The Funeral . Soon
23:00 comes the reminder, we have the right to the sweet ballad Kitchen Evening with Ben Bridwell teasing Tyler Ramsey but also the audience sang in chorus "oooo oooo oooo" little interlude 'Happy Birthday' and it leaves with Infinite Arms to conclude the evening with more beauty than it is already after two hours with The Funeral .
In short, this concert was simply one of the best that I could attend and the first where the group was somehow "unanimously" (and even the first part) with this particular standing ovation from several minutes to finish.
Group to review as soon as possible, then, perhaps (for me) in a still larger room or more precisely a stage ...
