How Do I Get Over Someone Who Isnt Gay
Saturday, February 26, 2011, to Paris to attend the concert Band of Horses La Cigale.
In part one, Mike Noga & The Gents , an Australian folk rock band. Initially, like most first games, I was pretty skeptical but ultimately rather surprised at the quality of the group live by their titles but also by their communication with the public has been, we can say with impeccable comic anecdotes rather on most titles. Public and even more so conquered when they took over The Man In Me Bob Dylan with Band Of Horses .
-> myspace
Setlist: Rothko, piss was Butterfly, the Cold year, Turn Your Lights On me again, M'belle, All my friends are alcoholics, the long weekend, The Man In Me, Down like JFK.
Towards 21h00, it's finally the turn of Band Of Horses going on stage for a show which sold out in a room much larger than the Golden Arrow where I had seen a year ago. They begin with
Wicked Gil , as their first album Everything All The Time then following titles Cease To Begin but the setlist will include mainly securities (almost all) of their latest album Infinite Arms I listen to these loop lately. It is true that certain titles stand out a bit more compared to others such as Blue Beard , Compliments , Factory , Laredo so good to hear even more live .
fans the first time are not provided with leave to account for example Cigarettes, Wedding Bands , Monsters , General Specific with Mike Noga this time and of course No One's Gonna Love You and Is There A Ghost? which are a must as The Funeral . Soon
23:00 comes the reminder, we have the right to the sweet ballad Kitchen Evening with Ben Bridwell teasing Tyler Ramsey but also the audience sang in chorus "oooo oooo oooo" little interlude 'Happy Birthday' and it leaves with Infinite Arms to conclude the evening with more beauty than it is already after two hours with The Funeral .
In short, this concert was simply one of the best that I could attend and the first where the group was somehow "unanimously" (and even the first part) with this particular standing ovation from several minutes to finish.
Group to review as soon as possible, then, perhaps (for me) in a still larger room or more precisely a stage ...
Setlist:

Today Friday February 25, 2011 is a day that will mark some of us more than others, not by the sale of tickets for QOTSA, but by the separation group mancunien Oceansize .
Indeed, they announced this afternoon they separated via their facebook with this message:
"Dear Friends,
We regret to inform you that Oceansize has split up.
An explanation for this occurrence is neither forthcoming or indeed necessary.
All that remains is to say THANK YOU for being there for us. It's been a very eventful and life-affirming 12 years.
We'll miss you.
There will be more music from each of us as soon as possible."
Après douze ans, deux EP et quatre albums qui nous ont procuré tellement de bonheur auditif, ils s'embarquent dans de nouveaux projets dont vous pouvez trouver les liens ci dessous:

Hide Pipes Under Sink
Thursday, February 17, 2011, a small passage at the Klub in Paris (finally) see Branson Hollis in concert.
For those who do not know, Hollis Branson is a rock / post-hardcore French which is the revelation of the French rock scene in 2010 in a way not to hurt people.
In part one, The Butcher's Rodeo we would have liked to have on stage a little longer (-> myspace ) and Picture Me Dead Blondie, a bass duet / battery pretty amazing (-> myspace )
Arrive finally Branson Hollis I knew that the EP ' Diving suits drying ' (you can always pick here) and to my surprise (ignorant as I am), I m 'see quickly that three members of the group are singing, not two ...
For their set, as they say more are even better Live in studio version with titles intense, melodic and powerful example of The Jar , Pending Souls and New Colours, New Shapes (with featuring Matthew of Admiral's Arms ).
In short, very good concert, very good group to urgently review!
Setlist:

Jon Cryer Gets Paid ??
After waiting three long years, the Scottish quintet presents their seventh studio album Hardcore Will Never Die, But You Will .
This album, most of whose titles have been broadcast on radio (in particular Vic Galloway ) begins White Noise, as short, sweet and melodic introducing good album, it follows Mexican Grand Prix , under very year 70 with the presence of the keyboard where a sweet singing voice alternates with altered electronically, which leaves me somewhat perplexed as George Square Thatcher Death Party . Arrive
Pano Rano and Death Rays are just my favorite songs of this album with their guitars, their respective melody which represent one of the reasons I like this group. In another style
San Pedro discovered via Pitchfork , begins with a bang like a car chase that leaves us a glimpse of a colorful enough Tarantino. Regarding Letters To The Metro and How To Be A Werewolf , these two songs heard in January at Vic Galloway I was not really convinced unlike Too Raging Cheers To .
Finally, to conclude the album, the Scottish reiterate their wacky titles with 're Lionel Richie (after I'm Jim Morrison I'm Dead) where the guitar / drums duo rising crescendo wonders.
In short, this album is more electronic, more different than previous titles but with rather short is certainly not their best but explores an alternate universe that may please some and displease others.
For my part, I expected better, securities heard through various sessions (White Noise, Pano Rano, San Pedro, Death Rays, Cheers Too Raging TB) are the ones I enjoy most of which my ; disappointment to listen to other securities in this album, maybe because I focus a lot on Mogwai melodic and saturated from previous albums ...
But in any case, Hardcore Will Never Die, But You Will is a good album pleasant to listen start to finish.
It only remains to find out live on March 17 as part of their concert in Paris is already full.
Tracklist:
01 "White Noise"
02 "Mexican Grand Prix
03" Pano Rano "
04" Death Rays "
05" San Pedro "
06" Letters To The Metro "
07" Square George Thatcher Death Party "
08" How To Be A Werewolf
09 "Too Raging TB Cheers"
10 "You're Lionel Richie"

few days ago, the minister Andre Antoine introduced Masterplan Perwez (available here ).
This plan has the great merit to address consistently the goal of revitalizing the center Perwez who badly needs but has a big gap. It does nothing to improve road safety. Carl Cambron has discussed the installation of two radars but only on the floor of Charleroi (currently being installed). That's it.
Nothing, absolutely nothing, is expected to reduce the speed rue Saint Roch, while a police test showed that 84% of vehicles fail to comply not the speed limit - 10% over 100km per hour! Given the number of offenses and the increased traffic expected with the new zoning, the radar installation, in addition to improving security, so should not cost the taxpayer.
For years (167 weeks at the counter) we continue to request a speed limit and a ban on trucks in the Rue St. Roch. Each time the municipal and regional authorities remain deaf to the demands of residents and will not take responsibility we retorting an easy "it is not me, it's him," "there is no budget." ... and what needed to happen happened. A motorcyclist has recently been found seriously injured in the street. This might have been avoided if we had listened to the people.
The masterplan envisages the creation of a crib in the streets. Good luck to the parents who must leave their children in their car with vehicles passing in a whirlwind few inches of them!
