What Does A Wedding Costtoday

Review: Charlie Simpson - When We Were Lions (EP)

On 25 December last, those who participate via Music Pledge to EP Charlie Simpson entitled When We Were Lions were finally able to download it and so have a preview of the album in the works due out probably in May 2011.

While we expected an acoustic album, it quickly becomes clear in listening to this EP that will be anything but sound with various influences.

This includes securities that may characterize melancholic listening to the words where 'oblivion', 'memories', 'love', 'death' are recurring themes .
Despite the lyrics of songs like The Farmer & His Gun (which is by far my favorite track) may surprise many with its catchy refrain but mostly Southern style (harmonica participates strongly) or Lost with the singing accompanied by Charlie a guitar / drums duo that makes this title particularly epic. The
little less of this mini-album returns to Bullet that this is a cover (Hayden), but remains a very good title.

In short, When We Were Lions is an EP for a rather successful solo debut, which in addition Thorns (always downloadable for free via the official website) we will wait until this summer ...
