The Best Freshman Initiation Pranks

Live Review: Festival Bring The Noise: Papa Roach, Enhancer, Blackrain @ Trabendo, Paris

After a stint at Hellfest 2009, nu-metal Papa Roach were back in France in December 14, 2010 as part of the second evening of Festival Bring The Noise created by radio Oui.fm where they were headlining .

The first part Blackrain a French glam rock band that made me realize that I did not really like this music style ...

Then Enhancer a French neo-metal that I discovered in the 2000s and almost forgotten since, Finally, before the evening where the words of crazy or No Sleep of my memories have resurfaced.
Very fit, they gave an energetic set that has managed to overheat the Trabendo in particular with a rain of slammers which included members of the group (remember my head ...)

Setlist: Street Trash, The Pressure, ping, Game Rock, Street Playground, Hardcore Version Dancefloor, No sleep, stun gun, Hot.

Although enhancer could be the headliner of the evening, so their set was unbridled, most of the public had come to Jacoby Shaddix and his band .

Papa Roach thus arrives on stage and begins Kick in the teeth, single from their latest album Annihilation Time For that even if "effective" Jacoby Shaddix's voice has left many perplexed ... The evening
continues with a sort of best-of Papa Roach setlist including some tracks from their second album Infest by which I have discovered ten years ago and which for me is their best album.
atmosphere when it was superheated to a little less than Enhancer with much less slammers. But it was a very good evening, which was concluded in beauty Last Resort.

In conclusion, just a big thank you to Oui.fm and Bring The Noise for creating this festival!

Live Review: Deftones @ Trianon, Paris

After the group facebook Collective haters who did not have their place for Deftones last May for their concert very intimate to the Black Ball , I put everything on my side not to miss their return to the capital to the sale of tickets.

So here we are on Monday, December 13, 2010 at Trianon in Paris, a charming theater in the style of the Olympia where the Deftones were going to happen for two nights.

In part, Doyle a rock / hardcore French who try to heat the room somehow and who also had to address the lack of Coheed and Cambria who apparently preferred to stay home ... www.myspace.com / doyleband

20h40, five Californian Deftones finally going on stage to applause and cries of hysterical public and begin the show by Rocket Skates followed by Around the As and My Own Summer (Shove it) who set the tone for the evening but by unleashing the pit also the balcony.

Chino Moreno fitter than ever (such as what plans it works) we made it clear that Deftones were well and truly back on even though the absence of Chi Cheng is always feel ... [ www.oneloveforchi.com ]
Chino who seemed happy to be back playing in the capital as his four accomplices were also close to the public with its round trip of a platform to another or in the pit.

The setlist on it was just huge with many of the flagship titles of their latest album Diamond Eyes but mostly because of the presence of songs from previous albums such as My Own Summer, Minerva, Be quiet and drive, Digital Bath, Cmnd / Ctrl, 7 Words and Passenger which are by far my favorite .

In short, this was my first concert of the Deftones and he was one of the best concerts that I have confused any artist could attend.

Live Review: Biffy Clyro @ Wembley Arena, UK

A week after our little weekend in Glasgow, here we Saturday, December 4, 2010 in London for the last of our Scottish Preferred at Wembley Arena , which like SECC Glasgow is a room of more than 12,000 seats.

In Part One, Holy State, a small group English rock / punk not bad at all (-> myspace ) and as the rest of the tour The Futureheads.

Regarding the Biffy Clyro , it was a great show, even better than that of Glasgow (which you can read the report by clicking the following link: live-review- Biffy Clyro-glasgow-secc-)
The London public was more than this, as the group completely transcendent with Neil Simon's lap in the blood that has continued to ensure the show anyway.
So it was a very good show this year to finish 2010 in style!

It will now wait seven long months before seeing them again in Milton Keynes and SONISPHERE UK where they will headline the highly-paid cons Saturday.

Removing Rear Deck 2002 Grand Am

God Save The Queen # #

The title says it all! Some have known in 1977, others much later!

Ramones
The rise of punk really started in the 70s, and today the first Ramones album is considered the reference! (Controversy for fans of the Pistols!)
The movement is a symbol of "buggery lead" by young people in society who would like this company cares about them! (In marked contrast with the hippies of the Sixties)

Punk music is based on a deliberately aggressive and with fairly basic agreements. The punks have a fairly provocative attitude expressed by ignored clothes, t-shirts with holes, cuts hair pushed to the extreme (peak) and piercings (pins, safety pins).
Sid Vicious
Punk literally spits his disgust with the company through which he sees no future and the famous "NO FUTURE"!

addition the Ramones, the Sex Pistols took the reins with numerous hits such as "God Save The Queen," "Road Runner", "Anarchy In The UK" and the revival of Frank Sinatra "My Way" by Sid Vicious.
Namely, the Clash are not punk in the true sense of the word, they made this qualification following their appearance in the 70s/80s.
In 78, the punk is no longer any illusions and makes her apron with the death by heroin overdose of Sid Vicious.

Metallica

James Hetfield (vocals / guitar), Antwerp 03/05/2009

is an October 28, 1981 Lars Ulrich (drummer) decided to start a band called Thrash Metal with a friend James Hetfield (guitar, vocals). Being in search of other members, they eventually recruit guitarist David Mustaine (Megadeth's current singer) and bassist Ron McGovney. At their first concert, opening for Metallica Hit The Lights "and" Jump In The Fire "and chained with covers.

Kirk Hammett (guitar solo), Antwerp 05/03/2009
Their first EP was formed by Hit The Lights, Jump In The Fire, Motorbreath and Seek and Destroy (now the undisputed reminder Concert Metallica). Then there were many tensions that were causing the departure of bassist and the temporary exclusion of Dave Mustaine. That's when Cliff Burton joined the band on bass and Mustaine is also included.

In 1983, Mustaine was definitely ruled out of the group in favor of Kirk Hammett, guitarist talent at the call from the manager thought that the hearing to which he was involved was a joke! (Trivia).
On May 10, 1983, Metallica decided to record his first album "Kill 'Em All" a majority of whose shares will resume the first EP. Metallica The rocket is then launched in 1984 and then released "Ride The Lightning" on which there is the instrumental "The Call of Ktulu" the melodious "Fade To Black" and more trash Songs such as "From Whom The Bells Tolls" and "Creeping Death".

Left: Lars Ulrich (drummer) Right: James Hetfield, Antwerp 05/03/2009
But Since 1986, this is where Metallica has suddenly forward in his career with the release of the best metal album of all time: Master Of Puppets ". For me, this album is the one who showed the audience a final determination on what would turn Metallica horizon, at the concert in Antwerp, 5 March 2009, it was enough to hear the first chord of the song Master of Puppets to feel the first chills of what would be the greatest concert of my life. On 27 September 1986, the group because of skidding on a patch of ice, all members are thrown from their bunks, but unfortunately for Burton, he is thrown out the window and ends up crushed by the bus. He was 24 years and remains in the hearts of fans.

In 1988 the band released their album "... And Justice For All", which is considered worse than previous ones, but personally it is just as good for me. This album is often taken as a reference when talking about the song called One in which the last 3 minutes sounds like a tribute to pure Heavy, unleashed a drummer, a singer who screams and frantic guitar solo. Their tour was triumphant in the absence of Burton, Newsted replaced.

After 3 years of touring, Metallica returned to the studio for what would be their most personal album, "Metallica" also called "The Black Album." Titles and for me to remember: Enter Sandman, The Unforgiven, Sad But True and Nothing Else Matters.

From left to right: James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, Kirk Hammett and Robert Trujillo (bass)
Antwerp 05/03/2009
In 1993, they released Load and Reload in 1997 his twin to be very criticized by fans of the first hour especially ... the hairstyle of musicians.

In 1999, Metallica has an idea, which previously would have been unthinkable for a metal band, recorded live with an orchestra, in this case that of San Francisco. It will be called S & M (Symphony and Metallica), I think it is advisable to listen and also watch it because it gives off such a symbiosis between the two teams it is impossible to win before the end.

In 2003, Robert Trujillo who is formally admitted to the group assigned to be the bass player just after the session recording the album St. Anger. In 2008, Metallica fans who were waiting long have taken a slap in the face after being heavily criticized the previous album. Kirk decided to at least one solo song on the album "Death Magnetic" which is one of the best Metallica albums to date.
